This was an anthem piece designed to build excitement about Montana State University, on behalf of the university's alumni foundation, the MSU student body and the school's faculty. Utilizing archival and current still photography brought to life through parallax animatics—also known as the Ken Burns effect—and then set against a bluesy, guitar-driven version of the school's fight song, complemented by the vocal stylings of a local rock band's gravelly-voiced lead singer, it gave the all-too familiar fight song a rousing new timbre and earnestness.
